Q: Isn’t “The Home of Reggae and Cool Beach Music” also your slogan?
A: That’s right. It’s self-explanatory, really. We are the only music station in Boracay (and around this immediate area, for that matter) that regularly plays reggae music, and we only play the coolest tracks, so we are known as the “home of reggae and cool beach music.” Or as Skywalker says, “the coolest music station this side of paradise”; whereas Robert Boom dubs Radio Boracay as “boracay’s only one.”

Q: Is it true that Radio Boracay can be heard all over the globe?
A: In a manner of speaking, yes. We now have a live streaming webcast over the internet. That means any one around the globe with a PC and internet connection can listen to us - in real time!

Q: That’s great! How can I listen over the internet?
A: Easy enough. Since we use Orban Technologies’ AAC+ encoder for our streaming, you need only download and install the latest Winamp Player (don’t worry, it’s free!) or Orban’s AAC+ plugin for Windows Media Player. Then, with those in place, click on the Listen Live link on the site’s navigation bar (right above, under the site banner), or the blinking radio image link on the upper left-hand corner (under the shows slideshow banner).

Q: Why can’t I tune in/it takes a long time buffering?
A: It could be that our or your internet connection is experiencing down times, the server is busy, or your internet connection is way too slow (we recommend a minimum of 256 kbps connection or higher).

Q: What time can I listen to your live streaming webcast?
A: Unfortunately, we don’t yet have enough resources to sustain a 24-hr webcast. Right now you can listen to us from 6:00 AM until 9:00 PM Philippine Time (that’s +8 GMT). But hopefully, we can extend our broadcast hours soon!
